The fan was spinning. The pump refused to run.
*** FATAL ERROR — COOLING FAN: PUMP that would not clear, with the fan turning at full speed, and the pump locked out completely. Traced by measurement to one shorted fan-detection transistor (marked 2224 9K) on the LC2K-CNCT board, P/N 228-37221A. No board replacement, no new fan.
